PRODUCT(RED) 與蘋果已經存在超過十年的合作關係，每年蘋果都會推出紅色限定版的產品，並將收益捐出，作為對抗 HIV/AIDS 愛滋病研究所用。去年，蘋果首度推出了 iPhone 版的 PRODUCT(RED) 產品；而近日根據 Steve.H（@OnLeaks）在 Twitter 上的爆料，蘋果有可能在今年繼續推出紅色版的 iPhone 8、iPhone 8 Plus，甚至可能是 iPhone X。
先前曾多次爆料成功的 Twitter 用戶 @OnLeaks 在 23 日發表新貼文，表示：「收到未經確認的消息，今年可能有紅色版的新 iPhone…」
